Western Canada says deckle, Eastern Canada says decal.

Excellent as always. THANKS!

37:30 What DOESN’T give you anxiety? Also thanks for the acknowledging the alternate decal pronunciation. Which Canadians say it deckle, and why?

Old Crow Bourbon

As said, the extra coarse grind is for cold brewing and cowboy coffee; both because of issues filtering out the grounds. With cold brewing, you soak the extra coarse ground coffee beans in cold water for about 12 hours then filter out the grounds. If you tried this with a finer grind coffee, because of the lack of heat, you would end up with a muddy mass that almost impossible to separate the coffee from the grounds. I know this because I am a genius. 😜

"What do you use extra coarse grinds for?" Cold brew in 2022, percolator in the early 1900s
