V0.5h_Bugfix

Howdy! Here’s what’s up: 

Moana has finally finished fixing the game to the best of her ability, she fixed everything that was reported (hopefully) and the bugs that she found on her own. Huge thank you to everyone who reported the bugs!

We hope that now everything works as intended, but it’s a big and technically complex game so there’s definitely more bugs to be discovered. The whole process of testing/hunting for bugs takes forever now, so, again, big thank you for reporting them - it helps a lot. 

There are some bugs that we couldn't replicate, so please tell us if you encounter them, more about them at the end of the changelog. 

On my end, I almost finished the art for the pole events. Kira is completely layered, sex-scenes, toys, milk pump and partners are layered too, but I want to add more to it. I’m currently making two scenes, one where Kira gets finger-blasted by a random woman and one where a prison guard is making her drink cum from a bucket. There’s already a lot of pictures in this event, so I’m doing my best to optimize and reduce their amount. Maybe I’ll use cut-ins for them to avoid creating 200 new pictures that are slightly different, I’ll figure this out soon enough.

I’ll talk more about it in the next progress report, just don’t have a lot of new information to share right now due to this stage of development being a “grind” where I work with the same “base” image. Oh, I also started working on Olga's character art upgrade and I’ll show you some new teasers of her then.

Note: Saves work, just copy the entire save folder from the previous version into this one.

- Fixed the black screen bug at the pole (New bounce pose broke the carry pose)

- Fixed some typos like “mam, characner, etc.”

- Fixed missing descriptions for save options (on map change and on exiting menu) 

- Fixed some duplicating dialogues (like “Nurse” dialogue during the intro)

- Changed the conditions for Residential Area events, they now happen from day 3 onwards

- Kira no longer recalls meeting the resistance in mall dialogue if she never met the resistance

- Fixed pixel art not appearing during some conversations in prison 

- Fixed prison break triggering when sleeping in Kira’s prison bed 

- Fixed game freezing in some cases if Kira has breasts above ‘size7’ (there was a loop)

- Fixed Lev&Tolstoy sleep event putting blanket on Kira when it’s not supposed to

- Fixed Vivarium outfits revealing version and normal one being swapped 

- Fixed Lev&Tolstoy removing Katya’s head and saying they removed the blanket (Katya said she’s Kira’s blanket now, but we didn’t expect her to be so dedicated to her role) 

- Fixed Lev&Tolstoy sleep scene playing on repeat in some cases

- Kira is no longer able to wear underwear with her gym uniform (while at gym)

- Fixed Lev standing near Tolstoy when he’s supposed to be running to sell Kira’s uniform 

- Fixed being able to talk to Razin like you know him when you just met him 

- Fixed initial gym conversation not putting clothes properly on Kira

- Fixed Lev appearing near the elevator and acting like Kira has already completed the quest when he’s supposed to be running to the mall with her uniform 

- Being able to trigger the liquor stealing scene for the second time after being arrested

Bug’s that we couldn't replicate:

- Kira having wrong breast size at the shower (sizes 1-5 should fully work there) 

- Tunnel harassment scene showing wrong breast sizes (all 11 sizes are supported there, but only every second breast size is shown in events (size1,3,5,7,9,Fake1-2), so maybe that’s the issue?

- Construction workers stripping Kira’s underwear, maybe it happens because Kira has a fetish? (Fetishes show pink text and redirect all refusal choices to acceptance) 

Not bugs:

- The subway event triggering even when Kira is not wearing “Ghost” outfit, when we will add “Kira” back art, this event will support all outfits, it’s just not layered yet 

- Kira is not getting paid more after her waitress salary is supposed to be raised, that’s because there’s two waitress jobs, her Redtardis salary is not tied to the regular diner and vice versa. We’ll make this clearer and separate the two jobs entirely in one of the future updates.  

Like I’ve said, the game has grown to be quite big and technically complex, even our bugs are not as straightforward as they used to be. Figuring out what exactly went wrong in some places took a lot of time for Moana.

For example, the Bounce animation uses layers 96, 97 among other layers, but 96/97 are also used in carry pose, this resulted in Polina prison scene bugging out - the game just didn’t know what art to show, so it decided to show nothing. This bug wasn’t obvious, because ‘Bounce’ and ‘Carry’ poses are not coded in one place, and they both have a ton of code.  

In any case, this was a necessary update, even though it's not an exciting one. I’ll talk more about the next content update in my upcoming progress report, and I’ll resume the skirt polls this Monday. I just wanted to finish the artwork for the next update before Moana would finish her bugfix, so I decided to pause with the skirts and focus on the pole event.
