Also, Get a TIG welder! AHP alpha tig 200 something or other is around 800 American dollhairs from the interwebs. It has AC (with frequency adjust) and pulse features, which is about all you could possibly ask from a tig unit. + if you have a TIG you have a Stick welder, and the thingy puts out 200 something amps which will do quite a bit with proper rods. And as a super secret welder hack, you can use the foot pedal with the stick rod so you can adjust the amps as your welding... Its weird to get used to but awesome once you do... (not affiliated or associated with ahp at all, just helped a buddy set one up and was impressed with what it did for its price tag)
