Husbandly Hospitableness - March 2025 Voting Tier Drawing

Apologies for the delay as per usual. Graduation + job search still = my life is hell. BUT! at least there are fat men.

Here we have two characters by the talented Skinnyguy from the story 'Title IX' that you can read on Bellybuilders. I highly recommend you join and read. The story follows Parker, a college football player, and Lark, a college cheerleader. There is an old tradition in the South wherein cheerleaders are paired with football players during the season to be their "buddy". The cheerleaders typically make goodiebags, bring snacks, or decorate the locker of their assigned football player on game days for team spirit. It's a horribly sexist and antiquated practice- BUT it makes for a wonderful gaining story premise~ In Title IX, Lark, the only gay male cheerleader, is assigned to Parker whose initial displeasure at his assignment changes with how well Lark keeps him fed.

The two do get married in the end, so there's a small spoiler on my part, but its absolutely worth a read. In contemplating drawing them, I thought it would be more engaging to depict a scene that wasn't directly from the story but would almost certainly happen with these two lovebirds. Lark and Parker are in the market for a new couch after Parker broke the last one so they go to the only furniture store that can hope to accommodate men of Parker's size- Hall of Heavyweight Hospitality. However, every year of marriage to a good partner like Lark who understands the importance of keeping his man fed just means even a specialty store for the impossibly fat can't hope to accommodate Parker's weight. As annoyed as Lark may seem he certainly is smirking internally that he's fattened up Parker that this is even a problem to begin with. Poor Parker has to spend his Saturday testing(crushing) furniture and exerting himself when he could be sitting on his fat ass and watching the game. At the very least Lark has the wherewithal to bring lots of snacks.
