2025-05-18 23:24:40 +0000 UTCTell me you haven’t read the HP books without telling me you haven’t read the HP book… the reason we’re all pissed is because HBO said the tv series was going to be 100% ACCURATE to the books for the die hard fans (like myself). Except the ONE character whose physical appearance is described in great detail, and who was bullied for being SUPER PALE with LONG GREASY HAIR and a LONG HOOKED NOSE, is now literally the complete opposite. They could’ve made so many other characters black if they wanted to diversify and I’d put money on they barely include Lee Jordan and Angelina Johnson in the show. Also acknowledging biological difference is not transphobic it’s called not being a moron
