I was waiting for this reaction more than for episode 26. The flashback, the fight, the interactions, the lore, the signs on the ceiling, the NAME, the hybrid lore drop!!! This was insane. A whole Michelin star meal.

2024-10-12 22:22:27 +0000 UTCI LOVED the shot after Ichigo used Getsuga Jujisho and he had his back turned to it. The light of the cross shape makes it look like the four iris’ in the background which was 100% intentional and an amazing touch.

2024-10-12 21:38:45 +0000 UTCThis episode was AMAZING! So much changed, so much added, I’m so happy with how this came out! I leapt out of my seat when the soul king’s name was revealed. Yhwach being given a proper motivation is so great. And speaking of Yhwach, I think it’s a bit funny and even adds a bit character that he foresaw everyone arriving and decided to close the curtains again after stabbing the soul king for a dramatic reveal with the flames. Even the king of quincies likes to have a bit of fun. Loved your reaction, can’t wait for the review!

2024-10-12 21:23:33 +0000 UTCI've been waiting for this reaction lol I mentioned this elsewhere, but Yhwach's explanation this episode made me realize something I never thought too much about. The Soul King separated the original world knowing full well that the Quincy wouldn't fit into the new one, since killing Hollows would upset the new balance. So he essentially threw them all away to be eventually exterminated by the Soul Reapers. It also gives context to Senjumaru saying the Quincy were "forsaken by the Soul King". I can't really blame Yhwach for being angry. I'm all here for this new lore. Also the start is the first time we see Adnyeus's full Almighty active and it has a rainbow color (kaleidoscope?) similar to Nanao's Shinken Hakkyōken from the OP
