KENPACHI VS BYAKUYA + Ichigo's NEW Hollow Mask! ICHIGO, KENPACHI & BYAKUYA vs YAMMY LLARGO - Bleach: Battle ANALYSIS

Hey everyone!

Apologies for the lateness of this upload, processing the video took forever for some reason and really came down to the wire in the end.

However, it's here - a huge Battle Analysis for you to enjoy as we take a look at the final Espada fight in Bleach - Ichigo, Kenpachi & Byakuya vs the Zero Espada, Yammy! This is a controversial one, but that only makes diving into it that much more interesting - enjoy!

KENPACHI VS BYAKUYA + Ichigo's NEW Hollow Mask! ICHIGO, KENPACHI & BYAKUYA vs YAMMY LLARGO - Bleach: Battle ANALYSIS

Thank you so much for another amazing, thorough video analysis! :) Here are my thoughts on the subject: When it comes to Yammy, maybe the message was that bigger and stronger isn't always the best. And maybe he had lied he was #0 and somehow erased/scratched off the 1 to appear more highly ranked than he was? I'm making an assumption here, though. Another explanation as to why he was dispatched so quickly could be that after their respective battles, both Byakuya and Kenpachi simply became more powerful. Kenpachi absolutely did, as he gets stronger with each near-death experience. Also, having defeated their opponents, it could be that they were still under the influence of their respective victories, and were riding some sort of a confidence boost (though they're in and of itself fairly confident regardless), that helped them deal with the Espada with nonchalance. I'm a huge fan of Kenpachi and Byakuya's dynamic. As you mentioned in one previous video, they mirror and contrast each other so perfectly. As their respective journeys mirror each other a lot, perhaps this battle was a means of Kubo showing us a bit of that dynamic and also what's to come in the future. While fighting against Gerard, Kenpachi never said anything or got angry with Byakuya for attacking Gerard in tandem, unlike his altercation with Toshiro for the same reason. It could be a telltale sign of the grudging respect he has toward Byakuya and a hint of a possible strong alliance that we are yet to see if Bleach ever continues. I always found the parallels between these two characters quite poetic. Imagine how cool it would be to pit Byakuya in his angelic Shukei Hakuteiken against Kenpachi's demonic form and potentially be the end of him. Literal chills. Especially because of their contrasts and overlaps, such as: - Losing a woman they loved/respected - Being the captain at some point of the same person - Renji - Raising or spending time with Yachiru - Naming oneself vs. being born into a name - Being born at the literal bottom (District 80) vs. being born at the very top (one of the 4 founding families) - Angelic (Hakuteiken) vs. demonic (currently unnamed) Bankai - Training in the Soul Palace (heaven) vs. training in the Muken (the underground) - Crying when they think they are cornered, there is no way out of their respective circumstances (dying to As Nodt and Unohana, respectively), it's the last straw, as they're being stripped of who they are - Holding onto their swords until their last breath (vs. As Nodt & vs. Yhwach, respectively) - Being pivotal figures in Ichigo's development - Ichigo being a pivotal figure in theirs - Implicit impulsivity vs. explicit impulsivity - Both have lieutenants with a Bankai, who refuse to step down as Lieutenants and pursue promotion Sorry for the wall of text, I hope you don't mind. :)
