2023-10-07 09:48:50 +0000 UTCLille was my favourite since the beginning, the coolest design in base form and actually don’t hate his volstanding design, also his personality is one of the best, yes Askin is cool and all but Lille is differrent.Actually became a fan of the channel and started reading TYBW just because of Sternritters ranking video 2-3 years ago when i was introduced to Lille.Thank you Mr.Tommo for making me a fan of Bleach again, without you i will not be here waiting with passion for cour 3 🙏

2023-10-07 01:46:17 +0000 UTCOh don't get me wrong it's really weird. I just wanted to say that Lille wasn't necessarily contradicting Jugram. I guess Lille was just arrogant? I mean, he did bow down to Yhwach believing he had one shotted Senjumaru, so he was definitely underestimating Squad Zero. I guess maybe that's why he didn't use the X-Axis until he believed it was necessary? As far as Ohetsu just standing there, I guess maybe he was expecting bullets to be shot so he could deflect them? I'm guessing his first assumption after being shot probably was 'oh, so the bullets got faster'. It isn't until Lille tells him there are no bullets that he understands it? Although even then, in the anime's new scene of them fighting, Ohetsu still fails to realize how Lille's power works, so... I think it isn't until Lille lands a shot on him when Ohetsu lines himself up with Yhwach that he truly understand how the X-Axis works.

2023-10-06 19:50:20 +0000 UTCAlso, completely unrelated, but... I remember you saying in Ep 25's review that Lillie 'contradicts' Haschwalth's explanation about the Auschwalen in Ep 26? I went back and rewatched the scene, and personally I don't see how Lillie contradicts him? The episode begins, Oehtsu gets immediately pierced, and he says: "I see, so this must be the additional power shared to you through the Auschwalen. That's why your bullets that couldn't pierce me before now can, yeah?" Lillie corrects him and states that he got two things wrong, one, that this wasn't additional power and two, that he wasn't pierced by a bullet. To me that makes perfect sense, no? Lillie didn't manage to pierce Ohetsu because of the Auschwalen. Yes, he got buffed, but that has nothing to do with why he pierced Ohetsu. "... This is a power I always had (X-Axis) that I merely didn't have the chance to use before." That's my understanding of the scene, at least? Maybe that helps a little with that segment of the review.

I thought that with him actively trying to end conflict between Bazz B and Jugrum, and his general “aloof” attitude lent credence to that. I believe it was mostly wishful thinking as I thought he was the “coolest” Sternritter in terms of personality. I prefer the others’ designs (Pernida is still so sick), but he was the only one that I was genuinely disappointed to see die. I felt a similar feeling to Stark dying as well. I hope he continues to ride the high the anime is giving him.
