Better paced than some of the hate I've seen described. In Bleach FB groups Some say that the fight cuts too much out. I sorta agree but idk I'm biased since I let Mr. Tommo give me the backstory in his videos. Or they say it left out interesting reactions like some of the Sternitters freaking out that the meteor would wipe them out. Gremmys power is definitely a soft magic type that isn't easy to gauge. It's like LotR Gandalf; You kind have to accept it or you don't.

2023-08-19 21:02:34 +0000 UTCI can definitely agree, I wish we got more Gremmy prior to this fight. On the whole it was a great episode but this pacing is killing me. Maybe it's just unrealistic expectations on my part but (though these are very different stories) One Piece is over 1k episodes I feel like Bleach is the black sheep of anime getting what 30-40 episodes to flesh out a story. The new additions are great but I won't understand what the point was to finish the story if we were going to blow through it at this pace. So far the anime has done a wonderful job, but I'll always be greedy and wish for more.

I’m a tiny bit disappointed on how we didn’t get a little bit more on Gremmy and his presence before the second invasion and even before this fight, since I feel his character would have been interesting to delve further into, but I would definitely say this lived up to my expectations as a Gremmy fan and a fan of Bleach as a whole. The meteor’s destruction was absolutely jaw dropping to watch, especially with the added detail of Kenpachi fading into his younger self during the cut. Can’t wait for the analysis!
