This was such a great episode! I was secretly glad your prediction was wrong and we started with the battle. Unohana's Bankai was so amazing. Even though we didn't get much information I think they managed to convey so much. And it would be so amazing if the actual ability of her Bankai is something similar to Yamamoto's where she can gather together all of the blood of everyone she has fought over the ages, and also all of the blood of those her shikai has healed (a nice way to connect to her shikai because clearly her Bankai is not acid like we previously thought) and release that with her Bankai. It would be a nice little parallel to Yama's where he can reanimate their skeletons, and Unohana can bring back their blood. To add to this i also like to think that she can draw blood towards her - like a Quincy with reishi, like in a huge battle she can pull the blood from anyone with an open wound, effectively bleeding then dry. Another reason why she doesn't unleash her Bankai, because like Kyouraku's it will effect everyone within the area, friends and foes alike.

I like how once you look into his character more, you can find little things that make him unique in the crazy world of bleach(aside from him being a Quincy and soul reaper hybridπ).
