Perhaps not the most popular division in the series, the 7th Division has always felt like something of an outlier in more ways than one, and the characters that make up its ranks never quite got the spotlight they deserved.

For as much as Komamura gets dunked on as a Captain, I have to say he was probably one of my favorites. He was the Captain that was immensely powerful but would always be turned into a punching bag to tell the audience the enemy was much stronger. As for constantly shifting into Bankai it made sense, his Shikai was just the arm why not always release the entire giant?
