This POV is about 12k words and I was navigating how to write without giving too much away but giving just enough to feel satisfying haha. I do enjoy writing Blake. I realized they're quite hypocritical/contradictory and oddly sensitive. I do like their self-awareness though. I feel like there's not much of that in Infamous (lmao). It was nice writing more of them. I hope you enjoy it!

It’s incredible just how obsessed Blake is with G. They are anchored deep into their every thought, follow every step. What makes it funnier is that the same can’t be said in return, Blake barely features in G‘s POVS. And when they show up it’s only because of circumstances, not because they actively thought of Blake.

2024-09-29 13:37:20 +0000 UTCi love exploring Blake's POV, seeing their thoughts on my MC even in decisions my MC didn't make. my MC is the "Hey, can you turn that down?" type 100% and would never sing along to a song she knew made others uncomfortable (she definitely projectingly parallels a lot of G and Blake's stuff with her own and Seven's, and ergo doesn't ask Blake questions about G or push their boundaries bc she feels so awkward and clinically studied under a microscope when others ask HER questions about Seven. which is ironic when you consider how my MC is also openly a Soft Violence fan, that Seven was her ex, and that every RO route includes her having feelings still for Seven (and a secret crush on O) that the chosen RO of the route the ends up squashing both of those feelings for others (or else is one of the two and squashes the one other) as she falls for them instead. so. she and Blake definitely have different reactions to their "dont ask me about what happened between me and them" rockstars of their past lmaoooo), but clicking through the option to see what Blake's reaction and thoughts were to a MC singing in the car (as well as Blake's shock at the true route where my MC instead asked the driver to turn the music down) was so amazing i loved that sing-along scene that it made me have the hc that Blake, while on the balcony of their room (esp when Blake and my MC are neighbors), has heard my MC sing to G's Misfit songs and had the same "stop making G's noise sound good with your great voice, this is terrible" reaction while my MC is ignorant that other people can hear her, much less that Blake is one of them lmao HOWEVER, i am so sure the one line we got from Blake's POV 🎶"Take my hand"🎶 has genuine relevance to a Misfit song i am forgetting.... but my dumbass went and immediately got "Can't Help Falling In Love" stuck in my head bc of its 🎶"Take my hand, take my whole life too/For I can't help falling in love with you"🎶 lines. which. honestly, feels like a haunting variation of that song might be following Blake around as they involuntarily gain feelings for certain MCs, my MC included as one of them. so. uh. guess what i proceeded to immediately added to my MC × Blake Winters playlist lmao (i added Kina Grannus' version specifically since my MC is a woman and, ergo, my Blake is therefore falling in love with a woman's voice singing 🎶"Take my hand"🎶 and Kina Grannis' version is by far one of my favorite versions of it lol) again, im sure there's other lines in that specific Misfit song that makes it dissimilar, but I Have Already Made The Association and i cant wait to close my eyes and imagine a music video to this song featuring Blake Winters having their own Dipper Pines' "It's not like I lay awake at night thinking about her, pfft [later that night:] ......Oh, no." kinda Haha I'm In Danger spiral as Blake deals with their feelings possibly complicating or intervening in their plot against G/BOTB, meanwhile my MC is just being oblivious to Blake's turmoil about their plot as she unrelatedly is all giggly with her bffs lmao rip anyway TLDR;; great game! glad to see my Blake brainrot has been fed and that i can continue to twist them around like im studying a rubik's cube with yet another POV mini-game, i love it here, this is the best lmao . . . . . ps. (also, Blake is one of the ultra-rare things i am giddily proud of "liking before it was cool". ive been a Blake-fan since their introduction, tho i could never explain to a person why lol i still have texts of me babbling to my friend i got to play your game about my Blake theories and hcs and how i already shipped them with my MC, to the point my friend said "I don't get what you see in this character. I didn't interpret any of this at all while reading about Blake lol But I hope your ideas about Blake end up being the canon ones" all SUPER DUPER before the Valentines POV. which im not married to "my ideas about Blake" being canon. but it has been cool that so far everything i have wanted and hoped and theorized would happen HAS happened, even down to Blake's (momentary?) "snap-shot obsession" with my MC's tattoo of Seven's initials. i cant wait to see if i get anything else right and to be corrected in various ways as Blake is more foretold. im so glad Blake has become popular. and, for the record, the ONLY other instance i have about being smug about "i liked them before it was cool" was when my dad made it a Big Event at our house to watch "Avatar: The Last Airbender"'s pilot episode premiere when i was in early elementary school (like 1st grade or 2nd??); and i saw Zuko for 5 seconds and went "...I'm calling it. He's going to become hot and girls are going to love him, he's going to switch and become a good guy, and he's going to be my favorite". and my brother, who was in 10th or 11th grade at the time, scoffed as our parents made similar faces of judgemental disagreement. and my brother went "Bald-ponytail guy with that weird scar? Really?? You think he's going to be hot?" and i was like "Yep! Just you wait. The girls in your class are going to GUSH about his 'weird' scar once someone does something about his hair. And he's going to be everyone's favorite, and he's going to be my number one favorite too and I will have CALLED IT". and i did and he is and my brother still refuses to give me that $20 he owes me for having called Zuko's redemption arc, glow up, and popularity lmao i dont assume Blake's route will be all daisies by any means, but i do think Blake is in good company in my little "I CALLED IT"/"i liked them before it was cool" corner for sure lmao)

It’s insane how every RO is so edible 😭 10000/10, blake is the only enemies to lovers route I’ve ever been interested in for an IF because it actually makes sense. It’s so well done, there’s genuine reasons to be cautious about getting involved w them, it directly goes against mc’s best interest, there will be repercussions for mc’s relationships, BUT there’s also curiosity, genuine interest/connection/fascination & electric banter w/ an inexplicable draw. That’s so hard to pull off in an interactive medium but you rlly succeeded!!!!
