[A.B.P.P.E.] Bk 2 - Chapter 59 - Planetary Transition Error

Yin Hu got closer to the crystal, making sure his perception was active the entire time just in case something happened.

There was a distant risk that his interaction with it may end up harming them, but the benefits were too great to ignore. An illusion array this powerful that was fully controlled by him would be one of the most beneficial items in his entire arsenal of miracle items just sitting there in his bag. Especially for his core goal of stability, peace, and tranquility while surrounded by the strangely absent Jade Beauties.

No one would be able to break through without him letting them in. Just had to figure out how he was going to do that.

Would it provide notification via the system when someone approached or entered the array? Would it give him a mental signal and vague feeling? Or worse, nothing at all and people would wander for decades without ever being able to escape.

Guess I’ll learn on the job. Otherwise, I’ll find a solution for this as we go.

It was better to have it available to him than not.

Yin Hu pulled out his highest graded dagger in his arsenal, Yellow Light - Dagger of Determined Vengeance, into his palm. He could feel the bloodlust immediately from it. Da Ruis flinched and floated away, struggling to keep his head up. Shui turned with wide eyes. She was quick to gather the dragon hatchlings. Said flying noodles didn’t even complain when they were ripped off their treasure hoards.

Jun ripped her blade from its sheath, prepared for war. The couple appeared beside her equally shaken.

Yet, Yin Hu noticed nothing of that as he focused on cutting himself for the very first time since he had gotten all of these tools. He wasn’t a masochist nor had he even considered self-harm to level up. It just never crossed his mind that any form of mutilation could help him in any shape or form. If anything, he considered it a massive negative.

He tried the first time and it failed, rubbing against a crease in his palm, but failing to do anything.

Yin Hu tried a few times without effect.

Might need to focus on the mental aspect too? Strange that even this blade can’t hurt me. Or do Weapon Spirits never strike at their owners?

This time he closed his eyes and focused on himself cutting his palm rather than the blade. It was nothing but a medium for his intent. Lo and behold, it happened. A tiny pinprick that was perfect for the desire to drop a couple drips of blood upon the Central Power Source. Nothing more and nothing less even with the cutting motion that should have sliced his palm open.

Yin Hu raised his hand and watched as a few droplets bubbled to the very bottom of his palm, gathering for a brief second before they fell in quick succession.

Three drops was all that had come out and his palm was dry already, the clothing upon him cleaning him of any stains.

It happened immediately.

The crystal cracked in a thousand web fissures.

Everyone dropped to their knees, eyes glossing over and mentally fading as Qi greater than anything this world could contain flooded it without any concern over who or what was before it. The very air and ether trembled. Volcanoes erupted in the vast distance as if to commemorate a transition upon the world. The sky above cracked as the crystal had, in an identical pattern.

Error! Error! System Override 990288shUYY728 Activated….

Planetary Advancement Parameters limited…

System Override B22Y093R Activated…

Qi Quantities Increased, Extra Power Transferred into New Birth Bloodline Increase, New Birth Spiritual Root Potential Increase,  New Birth Body Cultivation Unlocked…

Yin Hu blinked as a string of messages appeared before him that continued to list what the extra power had been transferred into.

Must be the crystal shattering the way it did that caused this mess. Shit… I should have been more careful. The Void Blob is too vindictive to have allowed anyone to come later on and claim it after its clear attempt to kill everyone within this palace and surroundings.

He began to scroll down in hopes that he would get an ownership change system message amongst all of the bullshit he seemed to have started. It took nearly five minutes before he finally got a notification he was actually interested in or fully understood. A notification he had actually given up on while scrolling for so long.

Yin Hu couldn’t help but smile in satisfaction.

Da Ruis’s little loophole had actually worked and the cracked crystal had actually begun to repair itself quickly enough to see.

Central Power Source Detected…

System Analysis Starting in 3… 2… 1…

Ionized Superior Qi Crystal - (SSS+) Ranking

World Sphere Connection Activa…

World Parameter Error Override (000280001J) Initiated…

World Sphere Connection Deactivated…

Basic Functions of Original Crystal Returned until world is of acceptable Rankings…

Yin Hu almost let out a loud sigh. His blood had vanished and he was still getting error messages that strung into near novel level amounts of words. The worst part was that he couldn’t just swipe it away because it kept updating every half second. He would look like a maniac trying to clear his vision from entire paragraphs of code error that struggled to fit even his periphery vision.

“Oh?” He leaned in closer to the crystal.

It had faded into a sky blue color and started showing endless clouds within it. Yin Hu couldn’t help but notice how closely it resembled what had been around his isolated island. This time it was falling again. In very much the same pattern he had seen on the largest mural outside of the palace.

Is this a rendition of that event? Seems very… un-apocalyptic?

A dozen questions appeared in his mind one after the other. Where had they fallen from? Was the island he had been on just a piece of a world that had the same fate of the bunny cultivators? It didn't seem anything like this place in resemblance considering the downright absence of anything stone work on the prison that housed him for so long. If the bunny people weren’t part of the island where had they come from? Was it the entire cultivation world they were on or was it just this piece that fell?

Were SSS+ ranked items common in such high graded planets? The crystal had only been A+ at the start.

Had it lost ranking because it had been active for so long?

Or were the Qi Stones realm the reason it had failed to keep its power level until he restarted it?

I better keep an eye out for the girls and Rong. Give them the best Qi Stones and resources so I don't hurt their cultivation and ranked potential. Can’t work hard to give them S+ potential in the future only to make it worse inadvertently.

That only birthed a string of more questions he struggled to think up any potential answer to.

Maybe Da Ruis or Rong could have helped him, but the hit to his Ancient Being persona was too great to risk.

Not knowing a few things wouldn’t be so bad. He had been fine the whole time since without knowing pretty much nothing at the very beginning.

Yin Hu had a family now. Granddaughters… but still, that counted.

His Clan was growing with seven members not counting the six dragon hatchlings and now he had the perfect illusion array to make finding his territory nigh impossible unless he wanted to be found. Everything was looking up–

Yin Hu turned around, trying to hide the giddy feeling in his chest only to freeze.

Everyone was on the ground dead asleep and snoring.

Huh? How long was I out? Must have been days if everyone is asleep already.
