Playing With the Big Boys Now- Part 4

Kebech the mummy is now ready to harness the power of Halloween for his own gluttonous, power-hungry ends- Enjoy, and Happy Halloween!

Kebech had stewed on his plans for a long time, now— the constant stream of food his Ma'at had summoned had smothered him entirely, leaving him a slave to an imposed gluttony that seemed to have no end in sight. He invoked the names of Anubis, Osiris, Isis, and Ra, but none of the gods would avail him. As the ancient spirits of the land plied him with ever more, larger feasts, barely giving him time to think, he caught snippets here and there, half-understood memories of a festival, from the land that had brought things like hamburgers and pizza to Egypt in the first place. This festival seemed to be honoring the dead, and all manner of things from beyond the mortal veil. As to be expected, it brough twith it a cavalcade of food; mostly small, colorful sweets, the likes of which were the height of decadence to Kebech. 

The undead pharaoh began directing the energies of his own Ma'at, and found for him followers. The pharaoh knew what he was looking for; supplicants, worshippers, even, and he found them— those that recognized him for his magnificence not in spite of his great, wobbling girth, his huge waves of excess fat and vastly bloated, exaggerated body— but because of it. Kebech then realized, his enormously fat body could be used for this strange festival of the dead as an asset. As the pharaohs of old had the pyramids and Valley of the Kings, so would Kebech have his own monument to fix his place in the mind of his loyal worshippers— his own body.

Once more could he enjoy the excessive feasts befitting a pharaoh, the vast edible treasures that flowed into his hungry maw, while those followers across the sea honored him and offered tributes, buckets of candy coming for him in a great flood. Firmly anchored to the floor by the vast weight of his own monumentally huge belly, Kebech sank into his own body in opulent avarice; relishing every bite as every new pound amplified his magnificence. Legs rounder than chariot wheels lied half-buried under the great reams of fat that had accumulated around his belly, while a great, pillowy chest crowned the peak of his oceanic gut. Arms wobbled mightily, the sacred tattoos adorning his body now stretched and warped across his doughy flesh— Kebech was as whole as he had ever been in life, and now, he was prepared to reign as the greatest pharaoh of the age.
