My general rule is: if it's not important for the story we're currently telling, it doesn't make it in the episode. Even if it's my own lore dumping haha
I'll break that rule sometimes, but it's a good rubric to refer to whenever I'm on the fence about something staying in the edit. The chapalu lore may be interesting to some folks, but it doesn't do anything for the story we're telling in this moment. I can always exposit the lore for the audience's benefit later if it's important eventually.

I enjoyed these little snippets. I can see why you removed some of these from the major episode. they are either some out of context thing like the food clip or something that doesn't move the plot forward. I'd kept the lore on Maude's race since this world is very different from normal DnD.

I respect what you're trying to do with editing down the episodes. Trying to keep things tight. Because it can be hard to sit down and watch 4 hours of D&D. There is a lot of reading and other shit that should be cut. Some of this shit was way better than what we got in the episode. I would be hard pressed to be the editor and sitting there knowing I need to cut something and picking these scenes.
