I really like how MC is able to use their maturity/older age to their advantage in this one. The difference in perspective (be it in love or anything else, really) at adulthood vs adolescence is huge and something that doesn't really get explored in choicegames.
There's a couple of "How do I feel about..." questions the MC asks themselves depending on which branch they take. While in most choicegames (because they're written in second person) this is just questionnaire stuff for the reader, here it's neat to see MC's interpretation and answers depending on what you pick because everything is going through their perspective and filter.
And that difference sums up everything as for why writing SoH is so much more fun and interesting to me than ANYTHING I could make in second person perspective. For me, speaking through that filter makes the story come to life—and I hope it does for you guys, too!
