2022 marked a big year on my creative journey.
I felt a little braver in seeking out friendships and creative collaborations. This is when I met Chantelle.

I admire Chantelle's work, The images they create invoke a feeling of nostalgia. Using film as their format of choice, she masterfully creates ethereal images for her friends and clients. But also I adore the way she documents life with this format as well. There's something really personal about looking at their film photos, and I appreciate that she lets us view snippets of her life this way.

Creative gushing aside I need to also mention how big of a supportive creative person Chantelle is. Time and time again they have constantly encouraged me, support my creative projects and have said kind words to me when I have felt so creatively flat.
We need more people like Chantelle in creative spaces, people like her form the backbone and heart of community.

I'm so glad I felt brave enough to ask this lovely human if they would like to collaborate with me in 2022. She has become a dear friend to me and one of my favourite people to create art with. You'll be seeing a few more posts of them on this platform over time. And I hope to notice how every time we create together we seem to get better results and dream bigger.
