All of Roman’s feuds post mania have had nothing to do with the title bar LA Knight, and the feud with Jey would’ve been more interesting without the title, had he lost, all of his feuds could’ve still happened and if anything made it more significant. Giving Cody the title would’ve made the feud against Brock and etc have genuine substance yet everything jus feels like a side quest until we inevitably get back to Cody v Roman II
