Added 2025-07-17 14:01:01 +0000 UTCThis final chapter being the Finale, I had to draw one extra piece of art for it, and as you can see, the final drawing proved the most challenging. Positioning two big men in an embrace while giving them both the spotlight to the viewer is always difficult to get right, and it took me several tries.
Overall I'm very happy with how this story turned out, and I like to think my illustrations did it some justice. I pushed myself with these, going for the soft watercolour backgrounds to try and reflect the more romantic angle of the story. And I let years of feedback from you wonderful patrons help shape the narrative too, trying to incorporate things I think will resonate with the community (I know everyone has different tastes though).
It was a real pleasure to work on this, and to bring you all David and Jay's story.
