Brace yourself, season two of CHUCKY is one of the campiest and gayest seasons of television ever produced. In the VERY best way, naturally. I'd list all the very gay themes and explorations here like Chucky's final body count tally, but I don't wanna spoil things. They go all in, hunty. Season 1 of Chucky is basically a perfect season, right there with Season 1 of Scream Queens imo. It perfectly balances the unsuspecting horror of the OG Child’s Plays & the camp of Tiffany’s films. Plus I’ll never forget watching week to week when it came out the fall vibes were just too cozy! It must’ve been so cathartic for Don Mancini to finally get to tell a queer coming of age story through his franchise as a queer man himself. I love how he gives us final boys & final girls throughout the franchise. Season 2 is a lot of fun as well and you just get more invested in the characters! Tiffany officially lost me when she took Nica’s beautiful legs, having Jennifer Tilly’s likeness can only take you so far 😔😒
