I appreciate the idea of having a nice “final image” of someone, but I viewed my fathers body before his funeral when I was like 15 and I didn’t find it particularly helpful

This isn’t a promotion or anything, but I also have a reaction channel but for kpop and have used 3 different mics since I started a few years ago. Initially, I was using the mic from my phone (which was also being used to record), then I eventually got a new camera and a Yeti mic. You can actually buy it from Amazon and it’s pretty inexpensive, I think. Now I have switched to the Shure mic and it’s my favorite one because it does exactly what you were saying you wanted. Blocks out background noise and it sounds great too. The Shure mic is on Amazon as well, however, there are two versions. One is more expensive than the other (I use the cheaper one lol). The setup for both the Yeti and the Shure mic are very easy, although, I don’t know what you use for computer/recording so hopefully one of those suit you well. Sorry this message is so long but I hope it helps out. Either way, happy to help. P.S. You may as well just let the tears flow lol, you won’t be able to dodge it in this show. It’s rough, but amazing! Can’t wait for the next ep!🤗

Big brother father definitely seemed more involved when he was a kid. He's trying but you can definitely sense the strain in the relationships after he wrote the book.

Having the old mic back does add a quality (slight echo, perhaps?) that I can’t quite describe, but it feels like the audio in the old room, which is nostalgic like your other videos. ☺️
