That was a long time...

That was a long time since I've been posting anything. Not gonna lie, I should post here more. So let me recap what I've done ~~for hip-hop~~  in the meanwhile since October 4th (the last post).

So, since then, I developed and released a couple of updates for Blockbuster and Aperture.

Blockbuster updates

Blockbuster 1.6.2's biggest feature was particle morph which allows to use vanilla MC and morph based particles on a morph basis.

Blockbuster's 1.6.3's biggest features were native support for *.vox models and Scenes (which are basically like director blocks, but way cooler).

I also released 1.6.4 which was a hot fix, because I haven't tested properly the latest build, so there were a couple of critical bugs...

But overall all these 3 updates also have multiple of little features scattered across different parts of the mod and many bug and crash fixes.

You can out 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 change logs for yourself here.

Aperture updates

Meanwhile Aperture also got a couple of updates.

Aperture 1.3.3 got a couple of neat features to easily edit fixtures, to be specific, it added interactive creation mode (which allows to easily setup fixture's layout), cut fixture (allows to cut a fixture in half based on the cursor's position) and replace currently selected fixture with another type.

Aperture 1.3.4 was mostly of a refine update that I prepared for the tutorial series. There were a couple of minor tweaks made to follow, orbit and look modifiers, copy-paste modifiers feature and camera profile modifiers were added, and there were multiple of little user experience tweaks made to the mod to make it feel more smoother.

And Aperture 1.3.5 was just a patch update for Blockbuster 1.6.3 which also features a couple of crash and bug fixes.

You can out 1.3.3, 1.3.4 and 1.3.5 change logs for yourself here.

Tutorials channel

Since the last post I also made and released over 20 different videos on my second channel. Aperture's basic tutorial series was released, which features 6 videos that should help you learning Aperture mod from scratch. Also from those videos:  6 are BB tips videos, 5 are change log videos, 2 are BB academy episodes, 2 are sneak peeks, and finally 3 of them are miscellaneous videos (first Blockbuster project, showreel and a dev build video).

Ethobot helped me a lot with some of those videos. He fully made 8 of those videos. Go check out his channel, he has some really cool stuff!

Machinimas

Sadly, over all that time, I didn't had a lot of time or energy to work on my machinimas. I managed to make only 4 new Teletubby machinimas over this time period:

Not really the best pieces of work in my portfolio, but they were more or less fun to make.

Overall, I think these 4 months were spent very productively.
