ComeCloser need SteamVR to work so you first need to install SteamVR on your computer, and allow at in the Oculus application. Hi, first a compliment on an amazing game and such beauties! I'm mainly playing the stand alone on the Quest 2, but just had a go on the PCVR version but cant seem to switch on the 'VR' switch in the options menu. So I'm stuck to the VR/Link environment of my Quest, but playing as desktop mode.... hope that makes sense! and thanks in advance, D

Given that you have tested both 0.13 and 0.14, on both Google Drive and Mega, it can't be due to a corrupt file. Thousands of players have installed both of these versions without issue. You can try the following: - check that your headset has enough free memory, - check that your antivirus is not blocking the files for some reasons. - install the latest version of SideQuest, - sideload a file manager application in your Quest, then download and install the APK file from inside the Quest entirely.

Thanks for the reply. I did just use the same cable to successfully instal the Captain Hardcore APK. However, I changed out the cable for a new one, restarted the Oculus device and SideQuest, redownloaded the 0.14 file both from Google and Mega, and moved them to a different folder after downloading. All still result in the same error message. Any ideas? Is there a change your download files are corrupt?

This error usually is caused by a corrupt download, or a bad USB cable. Downloading the game again is usually what I would recommend, but if you tested two different versions then it's unlikely. You can try to use another cable, remove all previously installed version from your Quest first, and move the APK on another drive or folder on your computer.

Hi there, I am using SideQuest to try and load the .14 version of the APK file. I am selecting install APK from Sidequest and selecting the .14 APK file on my computer. It tries to load but returns the same error every time: "ComeCloser - Standalone 0.14.apk: Premature end of stream, needed 1 more bytes". It says the same when I try the 0.13 files as well. Any thouts on how to fix this?

I was able to get everything to work when I switched to room scale. When using seated, there's no way to get to the girls because the teleport doesn't work.

In ComeCloser, you need to get your hand onto the buttons (they react to your presence) and click them with the trigger. You don't point at things. You can check this video: https://twitter.com/ComeCloserGame/status/1354532693107728389 If the clickable things does not react to your clicks or your presence, then there may be something wrong with your setup. This may happen if the game does not have the rights to write on in the folder it is installed in. You can try the following : - unzip the game instead of launching it from inside the zip archive, - move the game folder to another folder that is not managed by Windows, - Move the game to your local drives instead of a network location. I installed the PCVR version and it loads up with the row of girls. I can move my hands and create a pointer, but it doesn't do anything. Using a Valve Index. How do you interract with the girls or even the Settings or Exit? Nothing is clickable.....

Here is more information about the installation on Quest: https://trello.com/c/pTdlUnS1/32-how-to-install-the-game My best guess is that you tried to side load the .ZIP file of the PCVR version instead of the .APK file (which is a common mistake, but unlikely given your comment), or you just copied the file instead of installing it (SideQuest has a specific "install APK" button).

I've downloaded the standalone version and used Sidequest to load the apk file onto the Quest 2 headset but it only shows up as a file on the headset, it doesn't appear to install an app onto the Quest 2 headset. Any idea why it's not working?

If the game is present in your library under the "unknown sources" category, but does not launch when you click on it, then I have no clue about what the problem might be. Isn't there any error or message? I suggest that your try and re-download the file maybe, or download another update. The file might just have been corrupted at some point during the download or the side load (unlikely, though). Also make sure you don't have any application that runs in background on your Quest, and that you have at least some free memory space.

So I need help. I'm using bugjaeger to sideload the game onto my quest two from my Samsung phone. The good news, it pops up under "Unknown sources" like I expected. The bad news is it doesn't let me do anything past that point. Like I see the APK in my quest two but it seems like something is wrong with the file. I downloaded the most recent quest version if that helps

Sorry for the inconvenience. We already had reports for this issue and we are working on it. In the meantime, I can only suggest that you roll back to a previous version on Quest 1.

Does Bugjeager work to install?

First you will need to run SideQuest from a PC, because this option does not exist on the Android version of the application. It was located in the upper right corner of the window last time I checked. If you don't have a PC, you can still sideload application on your Quest with and Android device but SideQuest is not the way to go for it. Instead, you will need the application named Bugjeager. You can find plenty of tutorial on youtube and such https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sideload+quest+bugjeager. As far as I know, there is no easy way to sideload an APK from an iOS or Mac device so you will need either a PC or a Android device.

Indeed, when you use the download links from this post, you end up with an .apk file that you can send directly to your Quest via SideQuest feature "install APK from computer". It is a common mistake to use the download links from the other post, the ones for PC. In this case, you end up with a .zip file that is only usable on a PC.

My best guess is that you downloaded the .zip file for the PC version and not the .apk file maybe? You can also try to uninstall any previous version already installed first.

I’ve tried to transfer the files to my quest 2 using sidequest but it just ends up in a file and not as a game. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to open the app using sidequest, not only install it on sidequest

Version 10 is a limited version an in the very first release. I've deleted all versions from my VR system. I get that your doing some great work and should be compensated for to, but the price is way too steep, and the upgrades don't come every month. Sorry, but there are other VR games.

I don't know if I'm asking too much because your work is exceptional. But, it would be possible to implement both for the quest and for the PC VR a way to grab and hold the girl like pulling her hair, grabbing her by the waist simulating a penetration like that. I think your game is just maybe a little behind Captain Hardcore, I'll test your PC version, theirs unfortunately demands too much from the GPU. I hope your version is more optimized in this regard. Please keep up the good work! Thanks for programming this.

I'm on Quest 1 and the island scene won't load. The app just shuts down. Other than that, this update is great!

i downloadet the quest version, uninstall the 0.6 but now my sidequest says to 0.7 "download ok", but its not on my quest. before it works on 0.6

not true. if you have a vr ready pc you can use oculus link and run the non quest version through steam vr. all physics work janky as they are.

Physic hair and cloth won't work at all on the Quest 1 or 2. These simulations are very intensive on the GPU and the hardware can't handle it for the moment.

We would like to add some static clothing on the Quest version, but the physic cloth simulation won't be implemented at all. the GPU is just not powerful enough. Maybe on Quest 3?

Thank you for your feedback. Sounds have been added from the version 0.5 on all device and is already available. Red vulva has also been mitigated in 0.5 and should not be a issue anymore. The next version 0.6 will come in two weeks or so, adding animations and a custom animation feature as you can see in our latest post. We have tested hand tracking and we are not happy with the results so far, not to mention that it is only available on Quest, so we don't plan to support it anytime soon. Penis dildo with testicle would be an interesting addition indeed ^^ We also want physic testicles and we will add it sometime in the future. Have fun ^^

I download now for quest1 standalone...but not sound? Mute all. Nice work on graphics but the environment could be even more empty if this results in a higher framerate. I think the woman's vulva is a little too red. in the future it will be possible to move the model autonomously as in c. h.? could you foresee a handtraking section with a simpler level (because hand traking consumes more cpu resources)? Will there be realistic dicks with dangling testicles to use as a dildo? Excellent thing the hands with the fingers that bend on the body, perfect for hand traking, you should only find a limitation when the fingers bend too much and go crazy. When do you plan to release the next update (please insert sound!) On the standalone quest? thanks for your attention and congratulations on the product, I hope to see it grow and improve again I will be happy to contribute with new donations! Greetings

In the holo menu you have a slider to adjust the height. This slider is supposed to be grabbed in the palm of your hand, not using the trigger. Does it help?
