hmm, its a complicated question. Honestly, all three are good, and I guess it really depends on the storyline. TF by accident can be good as a catalyst for a plot, and has alot more potential in the subject's mannerisms and body language. But at the same time "On purpose" transformations can allow for a there being a clean story intent behind their change, as they're doing it as a means to another end. So "Transformation on purpose" can be better for a long running idea.
