The Lily Praying For Light-Dark Ending[ENG]
Added 2024-11-14 23:17:34 +0000 UTCFinally~~ it’s done! This work took a bit longer than expected. Actually, the extended time was due to a lot of prep work upfront. But because I found a faster way to produce it, the actual creation didn’t take too long. In short, I successfully reduced a lot of the post-production work (especially for liquids). Although it required some time in the preparatory stage (creating liquid assets, setting textures), after that, it was just a matter of rendering. This is the charm of the Elegant Style :^)!
This time, I tried a format I’d never used before: a "horizontal double-page," like in a book format. What do you all think? Since I mainly use a computer screen and rarely use a phone, I’ve always felt that vertical comics waste screen space. But horizontal comics are harder to lay out effectively. This double-page format seems to solve that issue, and it also allows for powerful scenes by spreading them across two pages.
However, since I made the double pages as a single image, it might not be as user-friendly on mobile devices. I might release a version with split single pages later. Or maybe no one even reads comics on their phone? ^P?
Anyway, the dark ending story arc is finally complete! I have some new projects coming up, so let’s look forward to them. As always, I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the feedback! hmm I guess book format have it's pro and con, me personally used to single page too, but it's worth a try
