[プレビュー] FS #156

Hello! Happy New years! This week I barelly had time to create something for 156, was that because of new years? surprisingly no, I had a bunch of work to do, so this week I've ended up panting over those B/W drawings I did before, since their lineart was basically done, just this week I had that Shondo diana Request, then just after that I had a commission from Zenya Hima, THEN there was the Evil Outfit contest.... so I ended up with almost no time, good thing is, all 3 arts turned out pretty great, zenya art was for her patreon so I will wait a bit before posting here, this weekend I will post the that last NSFW request. with that said, here is the improvised 156:

Shondo had a less pronounced hard shadding, Suika had more proeminent shadows, I really ,liked how suika looks, so now I know I can go crazy with the dark spots and it will still look good in color. nise. also, here's the Evil thing I did, In my head the shirt looked amazing, but after posting it I noticed quite fast that it actually looked more like one of those bootleg "engrish" shirts, it will need some work... XD

I originally saw about the contest but haven't given it much attention, I find the nuros quite hard to draw surprisingly, but then I saw the 1000USD prize and decided to try something, you know... 1000USD is a 1000USD XD But since this would be basically a popularity contest it was a a great opportunity to put in use some other skill I have that normally woudn't have a lot of use on requests. For example, characther designs, sheets, settei, and composition, since it was a new clothing contest I decided to do a characther sheet like drawing, but not too complex, and with it being basically a reference sheet for colors and tones, I haven't used shadding unless strict necessary, which gave it a softer more technical look, and last, since it is basically a popularity contest I think... I packed everything in a mid century modern movie poster aesthetic, because for some reason people tend to like this style a lot ( and they really did with this one too) , so it was a mix of technical drawing, marketing strategies and graphic design. was quite fun working in it in the end.
