So, for the better part of last year, I found myself in a sort of ways where I couldn't really produce or create content the way I wanted it to be made and I know some of you have noticed with how my uploads have slowed to such a crawl, for that I apologize.
To not get into all that, the short of it is. 2025 has been treating me much better thus far thanks to some outside support and just trying to get my mental health in order. So I've been hard at work since the start of January on a fresh game experience and I've made quite a decent bit of headway into it.
What it is: BigLittle is a free Roleplaying game with Sizechange elements.
I intend for every major version release to be out and ready for anyone to play, while I'll be giving patrons the smaller micro updates and test versions .
It's been cooking since the start of January and with the help of a small alpha testing team the game got off the ground running.
The game uses the RPGMakerMV system, with a 3D world to explore, with full rotation of the camera available, for the purpose of exploration.
The focus of the game is a little open ended, in the sense I wanted to give the player freedom of choice in what to do first before they tackle the central objective set before them. So how you gear and outfit your party and what relationships you form will be up to you!
Relationship levels with party members and certain NPCs will play scenes as well and the stronger your links with people, the more player power comes your way.
Where BigLittle is right now:
That personal team of closed alpha testers helped to get the prologue of the game finished and polished up for play and then I found I wanted to add a few more little tidbits and details and swap some things around before going for the first public beta version. As well as adding a bit more meat to the game overall, so on my current pace of work I believe sometime in March I'll have that out to you all.
I'm trying to be better with updating everyone rather than long periods of radio silence so excuse the adjustment period and again I apologize to you all for the lack of any news or updates in the past year.
I've only seriously started work on this game at the start of 2025, but I've been pleased my with progress and the motivation to work on it is there and I'll try to keep it up.
What it all means:
Feedback for this project will be important and I'll want a location people can come and talk about the game and issues they might be facing with it. So when I release the public beta, I'll also be dropping a link to a new Discord server.
I'll have roles set up for those who are patrons hopefully, that should help to filter any noise and give more steady updates.
