Kaseyama Chapter 1

So this is probably something you weren’t expecting...To explain myself a little bit, a week ago or so I suddenly had the idea that I wanted to do a short One Shot kinda like "Pierce the Sky," but that small idea eventually expanded into a 14 Chapter long mini. series. Whoops.

I don't think it'll take that long to finish the whole thing, let along take time away from things like Kitsune & Buni or First Star, but it was too fun of an idea not to draw imo.

You'll probably also notice that the majority of this chapter was done with traditional materials. It was more of an experiment than anything, seeing if it was easier to make comics by hand or do it digitally, something i'd been wondering about since I did get a lot more work done when I was still doing comics traditionally.

The conclusion i've come to however is less that "Traditional work was less time consuming" and more that "My art style has improved and includes more detail so of course it takes longer to do than it used to." Heck, i'm pretty sure that if I had just done this digitally from the start I would have had it finished in a few days rather than the 10 days it ended up taking.
