January Story Poll

Alright, boys, girls, mysterious eldritch beings from behind time and space, and others! As I mentioned when I put the two polls up yesterday (Zoey's Next Pokémon and 2B's Next Pokémon), today is the day for next month's Story Poll to go up! Even if, you know, it was originally going to be yesterday, if I hadn't forgotten to put the other two polls up on the 8th...

*coughs awkwardly*

Anyway! Let's talk boosts and a bit of a note for Stripper With a System for a moment! Since A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure just got an update, it's obviously lost its boost. But Why Was There No Truck!? is up to +30% and both Pandora's Box and Stripper With a System will get +20% boosts in Jan. The month is honestly a bit cluttered with boosts this time, simply because of when I released Stripper with a System as an extra.

Speaking of Stripper with a System, something to be aware of there is that I actually have a 12-13k update for that story just about finished as a holiday extra that will release closer to Christmas. For that reason, its description below it a little vague, as I don't want to spoil the update's contents. Despite being a sizable update, since it's an extra, it will not reset it's vote boost timetable. Meaning, there's the possibility of back-to-back updates just a few weeks apart if it wins the poll. Whether that's a positive or a negative depends on your own opinion of the story, of course :-p.

Why Was There No Truck?! (+30% Vote Boost!)

Alyssa, Nocturne and Black Canary have formed a nascent Hero Team for Gotham called Overwatch, and made their first debut as a team by hammering the largest criminal group in the city hard! Obviously, that's going to provoke all sorts of reactions from all sorts of people! We'll get some of those reactions, as well as see how the trio start gelling together as a team more completely in this next update...

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box (+20% Vote Boost!)

With Harry's second year of Hogwarts well underway, and two attacks made by Golems at the castle, everyone is more than a bit on edge. Where will the next blow land? How will the chaos effect an annoyed Harry who just wants to work on his inventions? Not to mention, with everything else going on, will Katie and he have time for more dates?

Stripper with a System (+20% Vote Boost!)

Rylia has gained her first Companion/Minion from the System! With Momo having helped her streamline her business, and multiple new projects/production lines underway to let them ease their way into additional fields, its time to start seriously thinking about how to build up the military power they need! What do they need, how are they going to design it fast enough to be effective, where will they take inspiration from...and how are they going to earn enough karma to get some additional 'Help' from the Marketplace? Does thinking about it like a currency make it harder to do good deeds?! A question they don't yet know the answer to...

My Hero Automata

The Counter Offensive against the Empire of Kurrick has begun! Even as more and more industrial capacity comes online and new hardware it developed for the fight, the Terran Alliance has struck out against the Empire. How will that fight go? For that matter, what is there to be done about the enemy naval units that are causing trouble back on Earth?

A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure

2B and Zoey have stumbled a new situation in Mt. Moon! They suspect an Ancient Pokémon to have resurfaced, driving the local pokémon into a frenzy, even as the research teams looking for fossils might be in danger! Rushing onwards to try and assess and calm the situation, they aren't sure what, or who they will find. Not to mention what new companions might await them as the situation unfolds...
