2025-10-18 05:34:45 +0000 UTCi wanted to answer some questions you guys had/add info! 1. eunmyeong does his best for his parents with what he knows. he is always going on about earning money because he sees how hard his parents have it and thinks that's how he can help out and break the cycle. he also feels bitter that he's always "second place" to geummyeong, even down to their names (geum being gold and eun being silver). he feels that his parents are sacrificing themselves to support geummyeong's dream (such as selling the house, going back to setting up a street stall) and he gets angry about this because that's how he expresses his caring heart for his parents. at the same time, from his pov, his parents are just always getting mad at him for "trying to make money" and they don't seem to show the same kind of gentle love that they show geummyeong. he's not a bad kid by any means, just an immature and troubled one. 2. yeongbeom ("soldier boyfriend") and geummyeong got into the fight because from yeongbeom's perspective, he cares about geummyeong and wants her to live in a safe area. however, from geummyeong's perspective, she is doing just fine here and him saying that she should just move to his neighbourhood is tone deaf. yeongbeom is from a wealthy family and she can't afford rent in that area. if she moves in with him, she'll end up depending on him which she doesn't want either. yeongbeom is a really nice guy and he really loves her, but he wasn't seeing her side and wasn't exactly listening to her either. you'll learn more about him over time! 3. i forgot his name but i'll call the artist guy picasso. he wasn't buseon's "mistress" exactly. i might be wrong, but i think he was originally dating her, but she keeps cheating on him. eventually, she decides to leave him to marry another guy, but she still sticks around him and he's had enough of it. there's the difference in class again - buseon is wealthier/likes nice things. picasso can't afford that, but he was happy enough with their humble dates. it's just that she already decided to be with someone else, and he didn't like her enough to be a second choice anymore. i think the creepy factor is just his poor social skills and not caring too much about his appearance, hence the overgrown facial hair. he's also just caught geummyeong at bad times. he did reject everyone's creepy suggestions about going after geummyeong (even if he seems mildly interested in her). he also got scolded for not drawing naked women on his billboard, which semi-indicates that he doesn't objectify women in that way (like some other men at work do). you'll learn more about him over time as well! these events are all happening in the same time frame in different locations (jeju vs seoul). i hope any of this is helpful! i love watching with you guys and can't wait for tomorrow's episode! qotd: i am also the eldest daughter and my partner is the youngest son! i think this is a thing lol

When I was young, I wasn't exactly a good child coz i was too all over the place and often getting into accidents. Im even surprised Im alive now but way less energetic lol, but that was the kind of child I was and I guess I can be referred to as a brat too way back and a bit spoiled but definitely not like that curly haired bro. I at least was scared of my mom coz she was fierce and my dad was only super strict when it comes to boys. My mom was strict too about clothes and hair color haha. She hates ripped jeans and red punk look hair. When I look back to it now, I cringe at how I tried to look like an emo or rock star but often ended up looking like posh spice. Hahaha. Or a spoiled rich punk. Now I just look like an ordinary army mom crushing on hobi and supporting an army kid who wants to marry JK.
