Bumzu is very close to svt, and he once said that he wanted to gift Woozi a song someday. Bumzu said: "It was a song I made while spending almost every day with him for over ten years and thinking a lot about 'what would Ji-hoon have felt like over the past ten years?' I remember those days when I wrote the lyrics, one letter at a time, with sincerity, to the best of my ability, even though they were very inadequate. And I had to stop and write and erase them countless times over the course of a week. Kitae and I were so happy to be able to present a tribute song to our younger brother, Woozi, the best producer and the best singer. Ji-hoon, who learned love from the first two people he met since birth, is always grateful that he is still conveying greater love to people."

It's under an hour long and available on Weverse with English subtitles. They performed it on the Jamsu Bridge over the Han River, and it’s the first time a group has ever held a concert there! The show was completely free, both in-person and online — about 5 million people watched it live online, and around 60,000 people attended under the bridge and in the surrounding park (that's was the allowed capacity, though there were definitely more people!). Some Carats even rented yachts to watch from the water — it was incredible! For 3 days, the Han River turned into a Seventeen-themed park, with all the brands the members are ambassadors for (both individually and as a group) participating and giving out tons of gifts. Just to name a few: • CJ Bibigo(Korean food brand) – for Seventeen • Jongga (kimchi brand) – for Hoshi • NARS – for S.Coups, Hoshi • Jeju Island – for Seungkwan • NEOGEN (skincare) – for S.Coups • MOGU MOGU (drinks) – for Seventeen • BANILA CO (skincare) – for Jeonghan • SNICKERS – for Mingyu • AMPLEN (skincare) – for DK • UNOVE (haircare) – for Mingyu • KELLOGG’S – for Hoshi • FOREST (skincare) – for Seungkwan I’m so happy they did something like this🥹. They’re in their 10th year, and instead of making it a goodbye or a nostalgic event, they turned it into a celebration — so true to Seventeen’s positive and vibrant energy. As for the album, I don’t know if you’ll be reacting to the whole thing, but here’s a little context I thought you might enjoy (and if any other Carats know more, please share — I’d love to learn too, haha): “Thunder” and “HBD” were the two contenders for the title track. Dino mentioned in his 10th anniversary live that it took them a while to choose, but “Thunder” won in the end. DK joked that “Thunder” was inspired by the *Electric Man* game from *NANA TOUR* — though Woozi has already denied it, lol 😂 “Bad Influence” was co-produced with Pharrell Williams. The album version is censored, but the uncensored one was first heard a few months ago at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris, because The8 is now an ambassador for the brand. Wonwoo, even though he’s a rapper, has always said he loves ballads, so it’s no surprise his solo track is a beautiful one. The8’s solo was created with Vernon — not their first time working together! They have really similar tastes in music production, and though they may seem like an unexpected duo, they make amazing music. Personally, I hope they debut as a new unit in the future!🤞 Sorry if that was a lot of info all at once, haha — I just wanted to share! I hope you both really enjoy the comeback.
