"Final Exam" Game Development Story

Here's a new midweek post for your attention.

Development of Final Exam is continuing, and we (me and my trusted friend Sam Smith) are focusing on it. Yes, we understand perfectly well that many followers are very fond of Size Difference World. However, Final Exam is simpler, and we want to finish it as soon as possible so that we can devote ourselves entirely to Size Difference World (you can read more about Size Difference World in the series of posts dedicated to this game).

As I said, the game's base is ready! Now we are creating images for cutscenes. As of today, 18 images are ready.

All images will be gradually posted here.

There are about 48 images left to create... but that's not exact. I still don't know how many images will be needed for the opening and ending scenes. I'm not focusing on that right now, because I need to finish the images that are already known first.

While creating images for Final Exam, we realized that they take a little more time than the images we made on requests. The thing is, to be honest, we cheated a little when creating backgrounds for requested images. To create drafts of interiors, we used a special 3D constructor, which allowed us to significantly speed up our work. But all the scenes in the game take place outdoors, in nature, and we have to draw all the background images from zero. Because of this, the time it takes to create a single image has increased significantly, despite Sam Smith's greatly improved drawing skills on the graphics tablet. But we are not discouraged, and we are doing everything we can to avoid prolonging the development process. The support of our followers motivates us greatly!
