"Size Difference World" Game Devlog

Hi!

I'm continuing to build Size Different World.

This week I brought back a large map to the world. It can be entered from the town from one of the intersections.

However, the map is currently empty. I've decided that I'll be adding settlements (and other locations) as I create them. Right now, I still have an unfinished town where the game starts. I need to create images for all the NPCs, and I also need to create a few more locations inside the town.

I also want to make some changes to the program code so that events for NPCs are not automatically triggered when the player comes in contact with them. The thing is that right now, when the player touches an NPC, a cutscene is triggered that cannot be skipped. I want to make it so that before a cutscene, at first, opens a dialog that gives the choice to watch the cutscene, or skip it.

Although I've already said more than once, I'll repeat that I'm spending all my main efforts on the development of size-difference platformer Final Exam. I apologize for repeating this too often. I repeat it because I get a lot of questions about it in emails, no matter what.

I know that so many people like the concept of the Size Difference World game. Like it better than Final Exam. And that's why I'm not giving up on Size Difference World, no matter how complex and global it is.

In addition to the large map, I've added some new size-difference images to the game for NPC cutscenes. These images have already been added to the working build. All of them were published earlier in separate posts.
