"Final Exam" Game Devlog

It's the weekend again! Which means it's time for a new devlog post.

This week I finally finished all the player life loss cutscenes. Each enemy girl now has her own cutscene. Also separate cutscenes are made for the loss of life from contact with spikes, cannon fireballs and the cannons themselves. Moreover, the own cutscene is made for the loss of life on the boss location. And, of course, the end of the game, after losing all lives, also has its own cutscene.

That's the main thing I did this week.

In addition, I made some edits to the game code, fixing some bugs. I don't think it's necessary to talk in detail about these boring routine edits.

While I was fixing the code and testing gameplay, I realized that I didn't like the sprites of the enemy girls. I'm quite satisfied with a red-haired girl standing still and throwing fireballs upwards. Her forms turned out, in my opinion, attractive and sexy. But the other enemy girls seem to have less beautiful bodies. Today I decided that all the other girls should be redrawn in the same style. I hope I'll be able to do it next week, since I already have the body template. It was from this template that I drew the red-haired enemy girl shooting fireballs upwards.

The next stage of development will be to create giant girls in the backgrounds of the locations (just like in the first location). But I'll get to that a little later.

The images created for this week's cutscenes are published in separate posts. For some of the cutscenes, the images are taken from already created arts.
