What a weird one this turned out to be. It started with a very rough and silly idea that I didn't even think would work in the beginning, it won the poll handily, and I had to figure out a way to make it work. I doodled multiple versions not knowing which one I should roll with, I outlined them to see if that would help me figure out what I should do with them, colored them, added detail, and I had three finished versions before I even knew what to do.

It's kinda become a vehicle for the text, which I hope tells the story of the world and lore I imagine for Pokémon, in that pokémon have a very specific place, status, and role in society when domesticated-- one that is staunchly in service to humans-- and that venturing outside those boundaries or reversing roles is considered weird, unnatural, wrong, creepy, etc. ESPECIALLY when it gets sekshuwal (apologies for the childish euphemism, Patreon doesn't like certain words).

Is this the nasty Charizard from my previous pics? I'd like to say yes! Unfortunately, if it is, it'd probably take place later on in terms of timeline because there are several other ideas for pieces I think would come before this one, but this one kind of came about as a total surprise, so maybe it's a vision of things to come. ^^
