Patreon Update. Road to Reboot.

So this is the first month of Patreon after switching to Charge Up front, and OH BOY! I thought it's smooth sailing from here on out but it's honestly stressing me out.


After pondering over this Issue the whole morning, I've come to a conclusion on how I'd go on about this and accept it as we go.
In the long run, It wouldn't matter but as of this moment, I can't help but feel like I'm losing out on so much.

My true goal upon activating the feature Charge Up Front is that if you get charged on a specific month, you will receive a the entire reward for that particular month.

And that's exactly where the problem lies,

There are a handful of you that was charge for July so naturally you guys are entitled to July rewards.

But then there are the rest of you who DIDN'T get charge at all solely because we're coming from an old system of receiving Previous Month's Rewards after processing on the 1st.
For example, Reward being processed on February 1st qualifies you to receive January Rewards.
So this is creating a giant misalignment with how the rewards are distributed.

In simpler point, Some Patrons were charge BOTH for July AND August
yet shares the same rewards as the Patrons who was ONLY charge for August and it is not fair at all.

Since the issue is coming from our side and the lack of knowledge on how charge up front works, we want to completely make it right to everyone and do my best to make this transition as smooth as possible.

I've come to a conclusion that will hopefully well give a clear perspective of how I run my Patreon and will put current and all future Patrons on the same page.

Please Read Carefully

As of this very moment, your August payment is pending.
Any Patrons who's payment gets processed today and was pledged BEFORE July 20th will qualify for BOTH July AND August Rewards.

The Patrons who were pledged BEFORE July 20th yet was charged for July will be eligible for a full refund.

Patrons who signed up after July 20th will be given July rewards.
Patrons who are charged today will be eligible for corresponding tier of August reward.


I feel like this is the best way I could put it without disrupting the flow or angering anyone.
I am essentially giving away a Full month of Content for FREE! =D
(I guess this only goes towards to Long Time and Loyal Patrons)
I will process prints for July and August. I'm willing to put in the money to ensure that it's right for everyone and the least confusing as possible.
I care for all of you and you guys have helped me out so much so I feel like this is the least I could do.
