Hello !

All of what Omni-Man said and did during this episode… It was so awful, so cruel. The words that he used to qualify his own wife, the lack of consideration for human beings, and clearly the reveal about his motives… I guessed that he came on Earth with a mission, a conquest situation, that he was sent by his people and loyal to them. But I didn't think that it began with a genocide on their own planet, that the idea of "eliminating the weakest" began on it.

The fact that people from this planet, with this blood, don't age is an important revelation which explains why he took his time to accomplish this mission. At the scale of his life, it represented nothing. I love that Mark immediately refused all of that, didn't let his dad manipulate him, but it was awful to see him getting beaten like that. His dad didn't finish him because a part of him loves his son, but everything around, all of his justifications, putting the blame on Mark even for that beating, proves the awful person he is.
