During the intro, I suggested a potential time jump between the seasons, to have a show moving a little and also to progress a lot more with the characters. So clearly, to have Summer and Morty having 17 years more than last time I saw them, it matched with the idea ! Then, the explanation of the matrix came, and it was just a cool episode to come back in the show, mainly based on our two teenagers and these adult versions.

I liked to see Summer acting like a Boss Lady but then I understood it would make her so arrogant and insensitive… Like, she used her brother to kill him again and again, so he could fight for her plan to get out of the matrix, even if it meant for him to lose so many friends in the process. At the end, a little Men In Black process, and we're done. I missed Jerry during this episode and also to have a real subject to talk about, like this show knows to do, a society subject, a politician or else.
