Completely surprised by this time jump of one year but I understand why they want to rush things and it was necessary to see Cassian and Bix going on missions or the full year Syril spent on Ghorman playing low profile. But I feel really frustrated we didn't see the consequences of episode 3 on Mon (that we find here trying diplomatic and political moves, way too late) or of Brasso's death. It confirms for me his death was not necessary (you could have made him disappear after that time jump, on one obscure mission) and not treated at all.
I love Dedra and Syril way too much : here, I guessed he could have not left her and his job just like that, that he was surely on a mission, sent by his girl. I found myself being proud of them ! When, clearly, the guy plays a double agent role and he's gonna betray these guys, who are the good side of the story, that I want to succeed… I'm so divided during these moments.

I liked Brasso. He was a real bro. And while I'm sad that he's gone, I feel like his death was necessary. Whether it was in the previous episode or later, he was for sure going to die. The Cassian we met in Rogue One had *nothing* to lose; he'd given his all to the rebellion and kept talking about all the sacrifices he's had to make. This makes me believe that Bix will probably also die. I don't think Cass is going to get a happy ending at the end of this season. Which makes me excited because I love tragedies.
