Spoiler, don't read the rest of the description if you didn't catch up on the anime until the episode 17 : no, I refuse. Yes, she was burnt, like Nanami was, but I refused that the girl is dead. First, because I know thanks to an hidden scene that he's still alive, so she can be as well.
Second, because no matter what, her character can't disappear like that. She has so many things to do, all of her quest to prove to the Zenin clan that she's worth it, all of the things she needs to discover about herself, her relationship with her sister also... Third, because an amazing character like her can't die like that, so fast, in just one second. If at some point, it would happen, it would be epic and emotional. She deserves it.
