This final episode was so great, in the image of the season ! I think the show is getting better with each new season. I knew this one wouldn't end as well as the previous one did, and I even imagined something truly bad would happen. And during the episode, I saw that each situation could go "not so bad" for our guys, on the battlefields, but that Siuan had no allies at the Tower and was not prepared enough to face Elaida. I didn't guess that it would end like that for her. It was painful and emotional, but I felt a little glad about the fact that it gave strength to Moiraine, who managed to survive.

Rand proving that he's the guy of the prophecy, it's not a surprise. The fact that he does it by channeling, that was amazing but again, not a surprise. For me, his look at the end is more of a surprise and in fact introduces his next season well. During this episode, he talked with Lanfear about the pleasure to have the power (not the One Power, but to lead), and then he talked with Moiraine about the fact that she controlled him this season, to get to that point. Him defying Egwene at the end, her who is normally the one reminding him who is truly, who can make him come back… Rand might be tempted by multiple forms of power next season.

Do I need to talk about Mat and Nynaeve who almost died ? You know how protective I am with these two, so you already know everything I would say about that. NO.
