Hello !

You know me, normally I hate action movies with big guys just punching other big guys, making awful jokes, like you have just the impression that everything is a contest of "who has the biggest one". But, like I said in the intro, I have exceptions for that rule : "Die Hard", because John McClane is eternal and I'll love him until my resting days ; and movies which follow all of the codes of these movies but they don't take themselves too seriously.

These movies, they are made by guys who know they're not writing a masterpiece, that the story and the characters don't have to be logical, that the special effects and funny lines are not really great and most of the time too much, that they push all of the buttons at the maximum and it's okay, because it's to mock themselves, what they do. And as long as the viewer knows they have to forget to have a brain and just go with the flow, and as long as the movie knows it's made to be an entertainment and nothing else, it works. And it worked on me !
