Hello !

What a cool episode, it helped to change my bad mood ! I told you after the first episode that it would be hard for this show to talk about all of the subjects they want to explore in EACH episode, that they would have to select a few and go deeper with them in one episode, and then move on to new ones. Here, they chose to go fully with the political situation, all of the games between the different forces, the spies and rats, the lies and manipulations. At some point, for me, they're gonna do the same with a "religions episode", a "business episode" etc.

This pilot is gonna be in fact the centerpiece of all of the political situation, and he just begins to understand it. For now, they're all using him and/or want to kill him, but he's just seeing that he has informations which can be useful. The fact that the Portugueses lied during all of this time and the influence they gained here… I'm afraid of the priest's influence on Mariko.
