The manga finished this year, and as far as I know there is still silence about a S3. Mappa, the anime studio, may have been waiting for the manga to wrap up, as the story officially came to a close in July. But if I'm honest with you, an open ending like the one we just watched, would not make me mad. I know if there is no S3 then I'm going to start the manga but the anime it's already beautiful as it is and it leaves us on a hopeful note. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, guys! You will never go wrong with the recommendations of your community! ❤️

Btw that was young Askeladd, they were showing them af the start of their journey, it was just a coincidence that Thorfinn came on screen with short hair straight after.

From an article about VS, "Last year, Vinland Saga artist Takahiko Abiru tweeted that "Thorfinn's journey will continue." That clears up one big question: Vinland Saga hasn't been canceled, but a third season has yet to be officially confirmed." The manga ended this year so they may announce it but if there is a anime continuation, WIT Studios have enough source material for a season 4 but who knows if we will ever get it. If you want to know the whole story, you have to read the completed manga. The whole VS story is super good. Some surprises happen to Thorfiinn along the way in the manga, hehe!

You’re a beautiful man,” that scene really encompasses Thorfinn, the type of man he’s chosen to become in his heart. It was a difficult journey for him, often wrought with rage & short-sightedness since he was a little child. But it’s these experiences that built who he is now, wiser than he gives himself credit—a true warrior like his father. I’m pretty sure Vinland Saga is on your scratch-off poster.😉 In case you haven’t scratched it yet.
