2024-09-28 04:16:10 +0000 UTCI loved at the end of Episode 442 when Crocodile starts to laugh and then approach Luffy by the time he starts to talk to Luffy the music stops and it's dead quiet and then the To be continued sign appears and the pause of Straw Hat in that deep tone! OMG SO EPIC! When watching for the first time I was in shock of no! no way! Then oda did by Ep 443 such good writing! And think in any situation if Luffy had his crew no way would he allow Crocodile out but as no crew and Ivankov's word of keeping him in line they let him out to join them!

I love how comedic, suspenseful, emotional,etc. That One Piece is. Oda brings a perfect balance of fantasy and realism, including real life people, places, events as well as the same aspects from old stories, lore, fantasy, and everything in between. The complexity of One Piece when you combine all these layers into one show is what makes it so intricate and makes it stand out from any other Manga/anime ever made. IMO.

It makes sense to me, as all the time Ivancov is introduced he is showed changing people’s gender, and Crocodile’s organisation (the baroque works) was based on its members being Mr and Miss, so a lot of emphasis on gender. The wildest one piece Fan theory out there is that crocodile was a woman and Luffy’s mother. This theory by (crazy)fans has been around for ages. Luffy’s new temporary crew rocks by the way.
