The small things in AOT is so many, the show is just such a masterpiece. So Sasha got shot and Jean would have been next, but because Jean hesitated and didn't kill Falco. Karma made him get saved by Falco jumping at Gabi which made her miss the shot on Jean. The small things are just endless and this is like maybe my 9th rewatch through your reactions.

RIP Lobov🙏🏼. He started out in season 1 by threatening to execute his own men for “treason” and ended up as the last scout on the field. His end came because he couldn’t bring himself to shoot a child.💯 From a major L to a surprising W!

Gave him BIG hugs from Auntie Heather & Uncle Jas!💕💕💕
His response: a bright smile & “awww, I don’t need hugs!” like Chopper.🥰

Crazy couple of episodes!! Again, AOT presents a string of events that are overwhelming to process. So much violence & devastation, so many conflicting emotions… it drills home the senselessness war brings, especially when fueled by viewpoints that are restricted to a person’s limited POV. It’s heartbreaking to see Sasha’s death again, considering how lucky & grateful they feel to have survived this long in AOT. And it’s depressing to see Reiner force himself into action when he’s mentally broke, not allowing him to die in peace. Also, the anxiety of Galliard (the Jaw Titan) being used as a mere tool to destroy an ally. The brutality of the civilians crushed, trampled, etc in the chaos… mirroring when Marley attacked the walls of Paradis not only leaves you speechless once more, but gets reinforced by Gabi’s statement of “not knowing why any of this happened”. As an audience, we can see it, feel it… we’re truly the same regardless of which side we’re on. We all hurt each other, yet we all want freedom.
Also, the shift in dynamics between the Scouts & Eren is brilliant writing, that he trusts they’ll rescue him but at the cost of risking his own comrades… saying they’ve lost their trust in him, like saying he doesn’t have their best interests in mind, just an end goal. There’s a strong juxtaposition of emotions that have or lack humanity, all derived from differences in perspective. It’s impossible to not feel conflicted by these past few episodes of extreme highs & lows.

You guys are so lucky to be watching this for the first time. Here's a fun fact: Isayama was going to kill Sasha earlier, but it was so horrific that his editor had to go cry in the bathroom because he was so traumatized and begged him not to do it. So, she died now, but at least not as badly as he envisioned the first time. Good for us, I guess 😅

Rest in peace Sasha! A heartbreaking loss to the scout family. This part of the anime definitely shows the brutality and effects of war, so many casualties. Just so sad to see. You also get to experience what happened on Paradis also be duplicated on Marley. They felt what Eren and the rest of the people on Paradis felt, now you see the similarities with Gabi experiencing the same thing. The writing in this anime is so great! Still so much more to come.

(15.55 min) Heather u hit the bullseye 🎯 our main characters are doing the same thing that happened to them in season one. Someone can argue that Marley had it coming for all their government has done.. but as Jean 🐴 said will the killing stop?
Such a messy and convoluted situation, lots of what we see in our world today 😞
