Possible Minglings Hiatus

Hey guys,

You might have noticed I've not posted a chapter of Minglings. The reason is that I'm a bit stuck right now. I'm writing three stories and editing one atm, and it's a bit too much. I've noticed I am starting to mix parts of my stories up, and that's just no good. So, after long deliberation, I have decided to put one of my stories on hold. Even knowing I'll get some more time after NBB2 is done editing. The reason for this is that I'll spend all of that time on NBB3 anyway.

So, what are the choices? Well, I'm 'officially' writing Minglings, Kernstalion, and NBB3. I also write some stuff on and off again that I've never posted, but I won't count those because I don't write them each week.

 I will continue NBB3 as I want to wrap up Solus' story. So that leaves Kernstalion and Minglings. Kernstalion being the shorter and younger story, you would imagine the choice is simple. It's not, though.

Although I really like Minglings and its story, I've noticed on RoyalRoad that a lot fewer people read Minglings compared to Kernstalion. To give you an example, after posting a chapter of Kernstalion, I'll have a 100 views within an hour. After posting a chapter of Minglings, I don't have a 100 views even after a week. I don't know why this is. In my eyes, Minglings is a really fun story, but I did start writing it two years ago. Perhaps my writing skills have improved a lot; I can only hope.

Long story short, I'll probably be putting Minglings on hiatus for a minimum of 6 months, in which I plan to finish most of Kernstalion. After that, I'll post a message asking if there's anybody still interested in reading it. Depending on the feedback on that, I might start writing it again. 

So, what would that mean for this Patreon? Well- I have a small backlog of Minglings left, four chapters that I feel comfortable with, and I'm slowly building my backlog of Kernstalion. I can post those four chapters of Minglings here if you want?

I will also start posting more Kernstalion here, before RoyalRoad. My idea is to go post two chapters of Kernstalion per week on RR and one or two more here. I don't know exactly how much I can write if I only focus on one story. 

Now, none of this is truly set in stone yet; I'll be waiting for responses. I'll post the link to this in RR on the next Minglings chapter and see if we can get some more reactions. If I get no response, I'll take it that nobody cares and continue as proposed above.
