SWAP CONTRACT: Part 1

The PDF has Part 1 of "Swap Contract," including the first sixteen chapters.

The entire novel will be 44 chapters total.

The novel as a whole is X-rated.

The premise of the novel is that a man and a woman initiate a contract where, every time they have sex, parts of their bodies and lives are exchanged.

Vibe Checks:

-Novel includes explicit prose descriptions of sex

-Axel is reckless, so while the changes are explicitly voluntary, some early transformations are done without him fully realizing the consequences of his actions

-Axel spends some of the novel in denial about his sexual desires

-Some characters in this novel are either "supernaturally" or "mundanely" evil in ways that might feel provocative

-There's a lot of sex, but overall, I would discourage you from exclusively approaching this novel as "uncomplicated smut," as that would lead to confusion on where the novel is going toward part 3.

Authors Note

If you start reading this novel and enjoy early chapters, but then stop reading at some point, it is genuinely useful for me to know exactly when you stop on this novel, as this project on the whole could be a 'barometer' for where limits are for people. I know some people will hit something in a story that they don't like and simply 'nope out' from there, but via PM or comment, it is very useful for me to know if this story does include 'nope out' elements so I can work on communicating potential limits to future readers.

Conversely, if you do enjoy this novel, I would really appreciate feedback, since I put a lot of debate into releasing this project on the patreon, and how I handle future adult novels will likely hinge in some ways on the response to this one.

To me, this story is hot, funny, stupid, heartwarming, challenging, and infuriating. I like it a lot but the specific mix will not hit everyone the right way, and could be really off-putting to some.

This novel has, for lack of a better phrase, "bad guys."

Importantly, Axel as a character does not always identify them as "bad guys." Some of the characters in this novel are supernaturally evil in a way that might be surprising, and some of the characters in this novel are mundanely evil in a way that might feel more relatable and commonplace and therefore more insidious.

Potential Limits -- This paragraph includes some spoilery discussion and is only for people who know they are skittish around certain narrative themes. An important theme in this novel revolves around characters that say they are going to use a condom but then don't actually put one on, or who lie or otherwise fail to pull out, the "Pull Out King". The viewpoint of the author is that this is mundane evil, even if Axel as POV does not use that language (and even if there is a supernatural reason it has no consequences in part 1). This is important to setting up themes the later part of the novel explores, and part of the point of the novel is exploring that as a form of mundane evil. If you do not think there is aesthetic merit in exploring that form of mundane evil, this is not the novel for you.
