In some ways you could think of it as an anti-story.
I do think if you can get into what this story is and stop asking it to be something it isn't, you'll find it funny and perhaps even... fun?
But the whole point of 'prose projects' for me is doing ideas that I know would never work as comics, that are 'risky' in some way -- narratively, premise-wise, or otherwise.
