With Malik's beers in the fridge, it wasn't too long until I heard the sound of one last set of car doors closing outside. Together, we opened the door for the last two members of our group.
My heart fluttered as I saw them. Patty hadn't mentioned that Zoe was hot. Fuck.
Twenty-something. A mohawk with red highlights. Beautiful brown eyes.
Both Zoe and Sandy had a kind of rugged punk aesthetic; both had denim leather jackets. I guess they wanted to travel as a pair.
Wait, shit--were they lesbians? I wasn't sure--but as I contrasted Zoe's hot jacket with Sandy's, the thought crossed my mind.
God, they were both so hot!
Sandy was a bombshell, with long curly brown hair, brown eyes, and a brown skin tone.
For a long time, our gaming group included Liam as DM, Malik as "alternate" GM, myself, and Patty--with a few other people rotating in and out. Like a lot of gaming groups, it'd been mostly guys. It hadn't occurred to me that for the first time, me and Malik would be evenly split with the girls.
To end up gaming with not just two girls... but two hot girls, who weren't bringing their boyfriends along--this had to be like striking gold, right?
So yeah -- there was definitely part of me thinking this was 'too lucky' -- the way they were moving as a pair, came together, dressed similarly -- it didn't feel unreasonable to say that 'lesbians' was a plausible guess. Especially with Zoe being so punk with her mohawk and feeling more 'butch' and Sandy feeling more 'femme.'
There was something that threw me a little about Sandy, too. I felt like maybe she was wearing just a bit more perfume than I expected?
There were introductions all around. Malik was as cool and calm as ever, and I was doing my absolute best to not be awestruck by how hot they were--or to act awkward or make them uncomfortable. Maybe "clocking" them as lesbians was for the best, even if I was wrong--I had to keep my attitude under control.
Sandy was a manager at a tech company. Sounded like a pretty solid job. Zoe, meanwhile, handled the marketing for a local brewery. She was even in my field... just in a better position than I was. Man, both of them seemed to really have it together.
Finally, with Patty's pizza in the oven, Zoe smiled at us and said, "All right... well let me talk a little about the game I had in mind."
